We know wattsup - running the hot tub in the winter + fishtank pushes everything well into the dreaded "Tier 1" pricing on the PGE bill, but there still certainly are reductions that can be easily done, since it's probably laziness that's running it up. Whenever the fixit guys come to deal with appliances, the first thing they point at is the electric dryer as the ultimate culprit causing the high electricity bills.
