I've read enough of your posts to conclude that you're a far-right conservative. Deny it all you want, no one is buying.

You've asked a lot of them, have you? Before you come out to play with the big boys and adults some growth and maturity might help.

A Yougov/Economist poll released just days ago showed that 37% of Republican voters view Putin favorably, compared to 17% for Obama.

Didn't your super neutral news sources inform you?

Even more astonishing: Putin's popularity with Republicans has surged since it became clear that he was behind the leaks.

More Republicans viewing Putin favorably - POLITICO

Republicans stand for nothing. They are phony patriots who will root for a foreign enemy to meddle with our election process... IF it benefits them and harms them Democrats.

Read up on the reason(s) for the Electoral College.
There is NO good reason why the votes rural citizens should be given more weight than residents of big states like California. It's anti-democratic no matter how you slice it.

I didn't say my sources were neutral. I said I took news from a variety of sources and made up my own mind which 20 years of employment as a political and legislative analyst prepared me for. As I did say, I think for myself.

By the way, you're probably too young to remember when news sources actually reported the news without trying to make, interpret or spin it.

As for votes, our founding fathers saw it differently from you. I tend to think they were wiser as well.

The end!

Unfortunately, all too often that is not how it is being seen. Instead of being a criminal, seen as somehow being victim

It makes far more logical sense to direct ones ire towards the industries that lure these poor undocumented workers, but where's the fun in that?! It's so much easier to scapegoat minorities!

I have to give you credit. Your posting name is well chosen. Raymond Chandler also wrote fiction. Yours leaves out the salient fact that the state lures them to a great degree and thus, is a large part of the problem.

So there are industries that are putting a gun to the heads of people in other countries and forcing them to cross the border illegally ?

What we do have is government that ignores the main reason illegals are here in the first place. The private sector is the sanctuary sector. If it were government that is hiring illegals, I'd like to hear about it. I'm sure it may happen here and there.

The private sanctuary sector has the government beaten hands down when it comes to attracting and holding onto illegal aliens.
