Just passed. By the barest minimum. Going to Brown for his signature. They bought off Democrats in the Assembly by promising train money and other programs/dollars for their districts. California taxpayers, you just got royally screwed.

And minimum wage earners thought they would actually get something out of the new minimum wage.

Every election cycle we see some kind of road bond issue, read Tax here. We have voted in more road repair bills than any other state in the nation and yet we still have some of the worse roads in the nation. we are being ripped off.

Get this though, it won't stop with a gas tax or registration tax. Food prices and consumer goods will go up in cost here in this state. It happened when gas prices went up to $5 an hour. It will happen again. Costs to business are sent to consumers. The people that get hurt the most are the working poor, the middle class, and those that have no way to make a change in Sacramento.

All these people that voted for this need to be voted out of office.

Yes. That is the definition of all business since the beginning of time. Businesses don't exist any other way. Why do you cite this as if it is a hidden secret.

Years ago I had a political science professor that made the point populations in our society get the government they deserve...

He went on to say that the people say who is in office and the mechanisms are in place for removal.

I know this is outside the topic but a theory floated is California had a large part in a Trump Presidency...

A significant portion of the nation holds a negative perception and will chose paths opposite California just on principal...
