Any time. Wish I could take credit for actually snapping that one, but another camper took the pic, I just uploaded that from the group's page. It's one of my favorit's from the site.

here are a few of my favorite places:

Caddo Lake State Park in Texas

view from campsite at Caddo:

Kalalau Trail/Valley camping on Kauai, HI:

this is the beach from the air, we camped near the left side of the picture in the trees. i took this from a helicopter a few days before we backpacked in.

Krausse Springs in TX:
these are taken at the springs, the camping is just down the way from it

This is Pololu Beach/Valley on the Big Island of HI

Camping at Padre Island National Sea Shore, TX, is something we do a lot when volunteering there, but it's fairly unpredictable:

and my very favorite camping to date. the Muliwai Trail to Waimanu Valley on the Big Island of HI:
the hike in:

our campsite:

here is where we eat our breakfast. you can camp here but the musquitoes like it too on some days.

Fantastic pictures! I've always wanted to do the National seashore thing. Maybe someday, but no tent for me. I'm way to old and spoiled for that anymore.

Great pics! I was in Kauai for work a few months ago. Worked at Barking Sands Missile range, but we drove all around the island after work. The Waimea Canyon is incredible.. great campsite you had there!
