I went to New Jersey today near NYC and took picture of these beautiful trees. We have them everywhere in New York, New Jersey and Long Island area lasting for about a month until they turn green.
Do you see them scattered in Ontario and Quebec? Does Montreal and Toronto area have them, including suburban area???
I believe cherry trees are quite common in Ontario and Quebec. I know that here on the west coast in Vancouver we have several varieties with over 40,000 cherry trees within the city limits alone.
None grow upside down, like your first photo though These shots are of Vancouver.
I don't know what kind of tree that is in your third picture, but as for the others we have them on the west coast, usually planted along boulevards but also people have them in their yards. I don't know about Quebec and Ontario but I'm guessing they are probably there too.
Is that the Japanese Cherry Blossoms? Yes we do have them in Toronto. High Park is famous for them.
