I haven't been on lately because I have been busy. My dad passed away Wednesday morning from a 6 month battle with pancreatic cancer. Towards the end, he wasn't the same person. He wasn't able to move, talk, go to the bathroom, eat and drink anything. We had hospice for him because he didn't want anymore chemo. I can't believe that he is gone. He was only 52. The wake and funeral was really nice. The police department did a wonderful job . The police excorted us to the church and to the cemetery. There were about 100 police officers saluting my dad outside. It was so touching. R.I.P Dad. Never forget you.
R.I.P Dad. I bought this for him at his wake and funeral.
We had a feeling the end was near because he had the death rattle a couple of hours before he died. He was filling up with so much fluid from the tumor in his lungs.
Tony - I am very sorry to learn of the loss of your Dad. You did a wonderful job with him in these last six months, taking care of him, encouraging him, advocating for his needs and supporting his wishes. I hope should I ever be in a similar position as your Dad that my kids would be able to step up and be for me what you were for him. My deepest sympathies for you and your family.
I am so sorry, Tony. My heart is breaking for you and your family. Thank you so much for letting us in during this difficult time and letting us learn about your father. You have been a fantastic source of support and comfort to him, something that must have been incredibly meaningful in his final days. My deepest condolences and wishes for strength in the days to come.
My condolences to you and your family, Tony. Thank you for sharing your story with all of us.
