Oh elston--I just love reading about the critters in our group of friends. Each having their own personalities and ways!
Still waiting on my brother--he should be here anytime. I hope he doesn't get bored here as we don't have must to entertain him with...sigh...but he's such a good guy I'm sure his reasons for stopping by are to see my DH while he still can! I have a great brother!! Honestly he is so much like my son it is amazing! They are both wonderful daddy's and take great care of their families! Think we'll go have a nice Mexican dinner and just shoot the breeze in between. Looking so forward and yet a little apprehensive (not sure why on that one) about my brothers visit.

Just for a smile..........OL was getting my attention--a bit of brushing etc and little boy decided he wanted some too--OL, with her frail little arm and paw gave him a slap on the side of his face just to remind him she still has seniority in this house! She never ceases to amaze me.........

Cyn...it is my certain hope and prayer that your brother isn't coming to "be entertained"; Yes he is coming to see your DH while he still can.....but if it were me and you were my sister....I would be coming to see what I could do to help.....from breaking down boxes, to fixing toilet or changing light bulbs, mowing or lifting or carrying. If there were time to talk.....I would also want to get you aside and ask about your future plans....stay in that house, move back to California, nursing home or respite care if it gets to be too much. I wouldn't consider it just a social visit.....I would want to assess and help in any way possible. I certainly wouldn't expect to be entertained.

Hello everyone! Stopping in to say hello and wish everyone a great weekend! Cyn, that is wonderful news that your brother is coming to visit. If you have difficulty with that toilet, I bet he would be happy to help. Hope you have a good time with him, and don't be afraid to ask him to help you with something if you need to! Love the OL kitty story!

HUGS!

Hi cyn girl yes accept help if he offers it that will less stress on DH & you. I'd be wanting to do like elston & Kats posted knowing that would be more help for both of you in the long run. OL is reminding all of us not to count each other out to early good for her.

Yes that OL cat has a lot of spunk and is not to be dismissed! We can learn so much from our companion animals. (Even though my beagle girl seems so foolish sometimes.)

[color=DarkRed]happy Sunday morning!!!! What a peaceful scene.

I too love reading about critters and it is amazing what we learn from them. I know our little heidi taught me a lot.

Enjoy your brother.

Hi Kats, jaxs and Elston.
