Good morning my dear friends!
Still working on the syringe feeding without so much mess--not gonna happen! Ha! It just seems to come with the territory so I decided to move into the entry way on the tile floor off the carpet for the morning feedings anyhow--evenings have to be in the den because the other cats eat in the entry way in the evenings. Of course I had a towel down but we just couldn't seem to keep anything on the towel--including Yowlie/OL! She's actually doing quite well and gaining some weight. I know because of her age we live day by day but today she seems to be doing good.
DH is not doing well at all. Today we should be getting the nebulizer and several medications so hopefully that will help with his breathing problems. They are suppose to be delivering it from a medical facility and we will receive the instructions by the person bringing it--hope my tiny dead brain can absorb it all! The saddest part of this disease is it just keeps getting worse.....doesn't seem to take a break. Seems like everyday it's something new. Sigh....
Everyone have a good day and share a smile!

Cyn, I hope the nebulizer and meds bring both of you some relief. Fingers, toes and eyes all crossed for you both.

Smiles and hugs back at ya!

Exactly!

If you are worried about remembering the info on the nebulizer, meds, etc.......write it down in a composition book or something like it. Just have a few pages dedicated to the nebulizer - leaving room to add more info if needed, same thing with the meds etc. This way you will have one place with all the information. I know how hard it is to remember so much information all at one time!

Hugs!!!

cyn taking care of our mother we would record whatever the doctor or medical supply folks would say then wrote in down in a journal. That way if whoever took her to the doctor or was there when a delivery came wasn't there when another family member came everybody knew what was going on. Maybe you could try this?

Glad OL is having a good day hope DH's moods improves for both your sakes.

Did the medication and nebulizer arrive? Did you understand the instructions?

I wish....remember where we live...the friggin' boonies! The meds and the nebulizer will be here tomorrow although they did call to tell me they didn't receive the message--whatever!
I have no choice but to understand the instructions and I will but I think Jaxson and kats both have good ideas and will do as they suggest.
Everyone have a nice evening and as always I am thinking of you all!
