I'm just now learning about this. Has anybody here found a vet who will do it? I understand many vets don't even know about this possibility. I simply don't vaccinate my indoor cats because I've had 2 cats die from injection site cancer.
I've never heard about this either, but I will keep it in mind. Two of ours have had severe reactions from vaccines and I no longer vaccinate. The other one gets rabies only.
Interesting. I've never heard of this! My vets do vaccinate in the leg so amputation is an option if injection site sarcoma occurs. The tail would be even less debilitating.
So sorry to hear about your two cats!
