As I mourn the loss of my cat, I think its noteworthy for me to mention that I named 4 of my cats Sidney. I never thought I would hear anyone else come up with that name for a cat!
Congratulations to your little survivor! He is a cute boy.
I knew you would all love to hear from Sidney....and he & I appreciate all your kind words as always. I will try to get a new picture of him...He doesnt usually sit still long enough for photos unless he is catching up with his beauty sleep.
He is one of the sweetest fur babies I have ever known.
thank you all...sidney bug is a piece of work still. very active, loves to keep the other two cats on their toes, wake me up at 5am for breakfast (he is relentless), and my lap is his sleeping spot every time i sit down. He is literally a lap cat. He doesnt have a mean bone in his body. He wont try to bite you, scratch you or play too rough. He is a very loving cat. He is still however scared to death of strangers and quite nervous & jumpy for a few hours after people leave.
When I took that picture, i thought of everyone here who supported us when he was a sick little baby and i wanted you all to see how beautiful (and well fed LOL) he turned out. So i logged on and posted it. I have been very busy the last few months and have not been able to check in to City Data much. Merry Christmas all....
Cute kitten no more...but indeed a well-fed, well-loved, very REGAL feline!
Maybe in time he will come to know that anyone who visits your house (i.e. strangers at first) will never cause him harm.
Congrats to you both for having found each other.
