"I give my cat a bath once a week and he enjoys it but I cannot get used to the cat hair on my tongue." A Monday morning greeting from Texas.

So, my oldest cat is closing in on 16. He's holding steady, thanks mostly to thyroid medication. But he does puke a lot.

Last night, in the middle of the night, I heard him puking on the bedroom floor. "I'll clean it up tomorrow", I thought, and went back to sleep.

Got up and discovered that he had successfully thrown up not just into one shoe, but into BOTH shoes that were side by side near the bed. Not anywhere else, just into the shoes.

Pretty talented puking!

Hope you didn't put them on before you found it.

It was a very close call . . . good thing I had already put on my glasses!

You presented the container. It could have been the heat vent; or the comforter.

Yup!

Well, the moral of the story is not to change the cat's food suddenly. I live rurally and haven't been able to go to the big town to get good food, and bought some Whiskas at the local grocery store. Never again!

My cats will only snuggle butt-to-butt, too. It's like they don't want to look at each other, LOL.

Jasper has a two story house, 1500 sq feet of primo barfing territory...carpet, tile, he can pick...where does he go, when his little tummy is upset? He runs upstairs, jumps on Mama's bed, and vomits, right in the middle of the bed...extra points for getting the down comforter, and sheets in one fell swoop. That will teach Mama, to not make the bed!

I am just waiting for him to break in the new sofa...who said it is not really a sofa until the cat vomits on it?!

Checkers barfed on the foot of the bed at 6 this morning. Oh, joy.

I've got a vet visit coming up on Friday with the kitten. She has fit into the household so well. She is still a terror with the senior cats, she just won't quit. I took one of the seniors in for his annual last week and the vet asked if he had any problems. I said no, other than the kitten relentlessly chasing him. The vet smiled and said kittens can be a good thing for older cats, giving them new life. I have a feeling if my cats could talk they would argue that point.
