Ha ha! When I was told this moring we had babies...I was like for real? Nahhh! And then I didn't see Mali bouncing all over me and I knew it was true.
yeah!!!!! yippie!!!! hurray!!! huzzah!! baby kitties, when you can, pass along my congrats to the new mama, and when the babies are old enough, give each of them a soft pat and kiss from me!! love me some baby kitties.....
Whew! I was really beginning to wonder! Congrats on a job well done Mali! Ches....make sure they stay warm...remember they don't have the ability to shiver and do that on their own. One Mali is settled might want to check for cleft palates...make sure they can all suckle on their own....Other than that, if Mali is being a good Mom, your pretty much delegated to watching and keeping the towels clean. In 10 days or so...eyes will begin to squeek open.
Yes- where did she end up having them? Has she tried moving them? Is she angry at you? Are they all sticky and messy still? Are they eating at all? It's good that Momma-Mali is eating! She needs to keep up her strength.
Mali decided to have her kittens in a box by my desk and in between my dad's. We cut open a flap in the top so she can hear and see the usual on goings of the front office. She's got a kitty door for coming in and out. I'll snap a pic for your guys when I go in tomorrow.
Don't worry! She's a a cozy comphy bed of soft folded and tucked sheets.
Mali's doing well. She's cleaned up the kittens first and herself finally. When I walked in this minoring she was working on all of them. So she must have had them in the wee hours of the morning.
And if you all are good children, I MIGHT get some pictures posted tomorrow - If Mali is ready!
