Fleas aren't an issue. Mali and the kittens are flea free. Plus Mali's decided to stay indoors so that's a big plus!
I know how deadly fleas can be. My Ami cat was on deaths doorstep from fleas when she was not even 7 weeks old. So I am being watchful for fleas and hope we don't get any.
I never got around to naming the kittens. They don't have much of a personality yet. I was going to wait a bit and see which ones were doing what and how they acted. If anybody really wants a name - give me a day or two to figure it out.
No one knows why the orange fellow passed. One day he was fine and then the next day gone. Mali wasn't ignoring him or anything.
It's been a week and soon their eyes will be open. Can't wait for that!
One a brighter note. We've found a home for one. So that's two with a good home!
Everytime I go over to see Mali she's always rolling over and showing me the three. She's eating like a champ and drinking well too. I've been keeping her water and food supplies well stocked.
The first two are Mali and babies. The Last one is of the black stripey guy. She only let me take a photo of one. She was rewarded with a cat treat. I'll see what I can get in the coming days.
They are exceedingly cute. And Mali looks like a perfect mama cat!
