I blame ET or any other programming who somehow believes that promoting aberrant behaviours is good "Ratings"...It's shameful.

Charlie Sheen actually SHOULD have known better..He's like the next generation of FREEDOMS...and the Heck with anyone else..BUT Charlie is now reaping the rewards of his behaviour..HOWEVER..Many suffer same..thru transfusions and unrelated sexual contact..BUT those cases do NOT get the ratings...SHAME on Media!!

Seriously! As a side note if Charlie Sheen does of AIDS related causes, he would be the first high profile celebrity to die of the disease. When was the last time a big name celeb died from AIDS, many, many years ago.

It's not surprising with all the hookers he's been with, what is is that we are in the post safe-sex world. If you get HIV (unless it is by rape or birth) these days, you are really being an idiot. Use condoms for Chrissakes.

Rock Hudson. The only human being I've ever heard of dying from AIDS

But seriously, a hardcore drug addict that has had unprotected sex with 10k hookers and porn stars has HIV? Seriously???????
This is not funny but it is about as surprising as Easy E getting AIDS. Did he really have unprotected sex with 10K women? What is surprising is that he was sober enough to get tested.

First in a while, anyway. Freddie Mercury, Rock Hudson, and Liberace come to mind.

Treatments are so much better now, it doesn't seem to be the death sentence it used to be. In fact, Magic Johnson's virus levels are so low they are practically undetectable, and I think there's at least one case where the virus appears to have been completely wiped out of a person's bloodstream.

It's beyond sleazy for CS to have slept with so many women (unprotected, clearly, because he has children), but if he has been on treatments for a while it's possible that he, like Magic, has low levels and hasn't passed it on to any of his sex partners. But from what I read, he's paid off several people to keep this hush-hush. Hopefully none of them have contracted the virus.

That explains his erratic behavior a couple years ago (and weight loss). Not sure if his antics are considered the denial, anger or bargaining stage.

So, we have three possibilities:
*Either you don't happen to know such a person well at all, or
*You do know such a person, but they're not confiding in you, or
*It's the biggest conspiracy theory in the history of the planet

Gee, I wonder which it could possibly be?
Yes, this. Many people who are HIV positive/have AIDS do not tell anyone. Instead they tell people they have cancer. Cancer is more socially acceptable by a long shot.
