Aside of Sean Connery, Roger Moore is my next favorite James Bond.

Moore and Connery are my two favorite bonds for different reasons.

I think two of the best Bond films had Moore as Bond FYEO & TSWLM

His dry wit, class and charm were perfect for the Bond role.

The last time I saw Moore he was co-starring in a Hallmark Channel Christmas romance flick.

Forgot all about cannonball run! haha I'll have to find that and watch it again. I remember it being ridiculously silly yet fun(ny).

RIP Roger Moore.

Does anyone remember Roger Moore in ffolkes : When terrorists take over two oil rigs and threaten to explode them if their demands are not met, an eccentric anti-terrorism expert volunteers his unique commando unit to stop them.

I thought it was a good movie overall. and I did like him as James Bond

I didn't realize that he and Sean Connery were only 3 years apart (Connery older). I'd always thought they were searching for a younger Bond...

I'm thinking he was supposed to be Bond after Sean Connery's first retirement, but then something fell through and they got George Lazenby instead. Ironically the same kind of thing happened when Roger Moore retired and Pierce Brosnan was supposed to take over, but they wouldn't let him out of his Remington Steele contract so they got Timothy Dalton instead

Actually they were only two years apart, and Moore was older. Moore was born in 1927, and Connery in 1929.

Roger Moore was a humorous James Bond, and that's what I liked most about him.
