"Ted Nugent" and "talent" don't belong in the same sentence (although I just did put them in the same sentence).

Popularity doesn't meant you're talented.
It means you got lucky with a hit, and had a good PR machine.

Hall and Oates, the best of the best? Not really. Sold a lot of records and had hits? Yes.
100 times more worthy than Ted Nugent!

That would be because Heart performed Nugent's songs far better than Ted ever could.

I'm no fan of nugents big narristic mouth, and hes always been that way. He has some cool tunes. And what about lyrics!!! "You can yank me, you can crank me, but just you don't forget in the morning to get up and thank me" I still can appreciate the great white buffalo too. Trouble is in the mid 80's to mid 90's axe swingers such as Ted were a dime a dozen in almost all white working and upper middle class neighborhoods. If you had a band the guitarist was the most expendable because there was so much skilled talent, not true with percussion, writers or vocalist.

Agree.

The Great White Buffalo is a good one. I especially like the live version on
Ted's live LP...."Double Live Gonzo" ....I used to have it on vinyl but threw it away,
what was I thinking...Ted's raps between songs were gold.
"This here guitar was made in the motor city....guaranteed to blow the balls
off a charging rhino...." Priceless

Double live, Double heavy.

Ted now:

"This here guitar was made on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Guaranteed to catch crabs and maybe a couple muskrat."

The worst singers I ever heard are Neil Young and Bob Dylan.

True.

Ted Nugent is Pavarotti compared to them
