I was in B&N today and skimming magazines over coffee. I read 2 different stories (one in People and one in US) about the Gosselins and it was like reading this thread.
The People magazine article was clearly written by fans of Kate, who buy her "poor me" story, hook line and sinker. The extra boxes throughout the article were used to make snarky comments about Jon and his behavior with young women and to show that Kate is the one who is being responsible and being the "parental figure."
The US magazine was written by fans of Jon (or at least those who think Kate shares 1/2 of the blame). It included a body language expert who dissected Kate's interview on the Today show and said her tears were fake, her only animated movements came when she was talking about Jon and that they found it ironic and sad that Kate would mention Jodi and Kevin and criticize them for "making money off her kids." It also had neighbors of the Gosselins who said they found it odd that Kate would have picnics in the front yard in full view of the paparazzi when their entire backyard is shaded and would be much nicer for having picnics OUT of the sun. There was also a statement that Jon made about their marriage falling apart after their ski trip to Utah when Kate hired her bodyguard.
Anyway...just thought it was interesting and even more interesting that their viewer numbers are plummeting. Since Jon and Kate neither have the maturity or desire to stop the gravy train, I am hoping that TLC will pull the plug since nearly everything in the entertainment business is about ratings and money. Jon and Kate are clearly falling out of favor of many viewers and it might not be worth the network to put so much time into managing these two. Here's hoping. The show was very cute at one time and always put a smile on my face. It is not even close to the same show it was.

I just read the article by Kate Majors in Life & Style.
There's another article that gives insight into the babysitting by Stephanie.
Apparently, she is one of his drinking buddies from that bar in PA.
She has a young (under 2) daughter. Jon spent a lot of time with her child while she was watching his. They say he was not paying attention to his own kids but spent a lot of time with her baby.
One article says Jon brings women via ATV through the woods after the kids go to sleep; they then leave early in the morning.
They also show Jon & Kate together the day after the cops were called; so who knows what's really going on?

that's like some of the same articles i read---even if the show stops i hope k can get residuals as she will also be the main financial support of those kids especially after the x claims his money so he can support his skanky "dates" and pay for his expensive bachelor pad

who knows what he told her so she would sleep with him?---i wish the judge would take this guy's behavior into account and have his kid visits monitored cause obviously he is picking unstable women to be around him and possibly his kids----poor guys--hope they get some counseling!

what a freakin yawnfest that is sure to be. I'm trying to envision control freak Kate trying to do her control freak thang with Joy--ha!!!! not likely; with Whoopie--she may let her get away with it for a bit longer.........then nip it in the bud.
Tuned in to my 6PM viewing of Larry King Live last night and to my dismay control freak Kate was on. I honestly "tried" to watch and became only slightly amused as she tried to control the interview--and that crap don't cut it with Larry!!! She is so fake I swear I could smell plastic.
there is nothing funny about youhg children being negatively impacted by immature,narcisstic parents!
