I found out that Google is coming out with a new smartphone the end of the year, a Nexus 5X& 6P according to what I have Googled. My cell phone provider doesn't know when they are coming out or if they are coming out. I really like this Google phone as I call it, which is a Nexus 6. What do you think about this new phone or if you have a Nexus already, what do you think about it~?
I have a 64 GB Nexus 6P on order that I'll be setting up on Google's Project Fi wireless service. I have had a Nexus 7 tablet for a few years and I appreciate getting Android version updates promptly. I'm getting a Nexus phone because I want a phone that gets updated that promptly.

What is "Google's Project Fi"~? I've never heard of it~? Is it like WiFi~? And where can you purchase a Nexus Tablet at~? Is it like the Chromebook~? I've been looking at it, but I really don't think it will work for me.

Fi is Googles own attempt at being a "Cellular" carrier.
Cheaper then ATT and VZW.
In quotes because they use a combo of Tmobile/Sprint network and WiFi calling, not their own network.
I have a Nexus 6 and I use T-Mobile. T-Mobile operates with a Sim Card where Sprint and Verizon doesn't. So I am connected to a WiFi now when I checked, but is it the same as "Google's Project Fi"~?

No.
You are paying T-Mobile. On Fi, you will be paying Google. You will be technically using Google as your carrier.
Your phone will make calls over WiFi whenever it is available. When it is NOT available, your phone will choose between Sprint or Tmobile depending on which has a stronger signal where you are.
Pricing:
$20/mo + data charges. Data is $10 per GB.
So for 3GB you would pay $50.
