Bummbull,
The yards in White Gables have been described as "postage stamp." There's not a lot of distance between the detached garage door & your back door (if the house even has one). It's just tight there. And yes, the houses are of a pretty design that may be desireable. But forget about a decent private yard.
Got it. I guess I got confused since you posted pics of your yard, and I was asking about White Gables. I guess you were trying to explain that 40 yards is big enough yard for your large dog. Anyways, 40 yards thing is not that important to me as I was specifically asking about White Gables and Reminisce yard sizes, not about sub-divisions in other neighborhoods.
Sorry for confusion, I was trying to convey what about 40 yards is.
When I was touring this neighborhood it had quite a few homes yet still a long way till completion. My take away impression was that the homes were way too close to each other and the lots were very small. Obviously they work for the target market, but I did not like it there. Too uniform looking from street to street. No character. This was only my opinion of course. I know people who live there and love it.
we looked at White Gables when they first built them, no way would I move in there... houses are on top of each other and aren't very big... yards are non-existent, I'm not even sure my lawnmower would fit in the back yard... lol
you could cut your whole yard with a weedeater in about 10 minutes, garages are tiny, etc etc etc...
good place for old people who don't want yard work or any hobbies, but want a shrunk down image of downtown Charleston
I still can't believe people live there and like it, they must be from Tokyo where they're used to living on top of each other... lol
good yard for a pocket dog!
