That's the Merry Oaks subdivision. It is not terrible, just a bit too close to terrible for my comfort level. HOWEVER, your comfort level may be just fine there

Many young couples are buying up the homes there and rennovating them nicely. Most people love how quick the commute to uptown is for them from there. Basically, you could do a lot worse.
