It REALLY used to be nice before January 1st of this year, when you could bring in any food or drink you wanted to. It was nice at Concord Mills since you could stop by the Starbucks that used to be right there, get drinks or whatever, and then bring them in with you.
They need to offer hot beverages like some other theater chains do.
I plan on going tomorrow morning after work to Carolina Pavilion. Is there still a high number of car breakins there? My car has been broken into twice this year. If it happens again , I may stroke out.
I was going to mention that only AMC MovieWatcher members get the free popcorn coupons on Wednesdays. Join. It's free. And it does actually give you some good deals (I'm currently sitting on a coupon it gave me for either a free #1 Combo or a free Admission. That's worth anywhere between $10 and $12.50).

Thanks. I was once a member but stopped becasue I had moved away from where there was an AMC movie theater.

If you really want to bring something into the theatres just put it in a bag. They're not going to check your bags for illegal food/beverages. I always bring my own soda to the movies. I didn't even realize until January that you could bring food/drink into AMC. I've always gone to places that didn't allow this. Although before it used to be a bottle of wine that I would be sneaking into the theatres, so maybe I just got used to always sneaking in a drink of some sorts.

I smuggled in a foot long sub from subway before. It was awesome.
I have a bag to carry my Kindle, MP3 Walkman, etc. I use it to sneak in my Cheerwine and Oreos. In my youth, it used to be thing to do to sneak in as many beers as possible. I had a Members Only bomber jacket with a plethora of pockets. I could fit 12 beers in there as long as they weren't pounders or Coors Light/Extra Gold (used to have a taller can style).
