Who doesn't have all these things? They have all these things where we all come from, except cold winters if coming from the west

That its not different from anywhere else. Ive posted before, a Walmart is the same here as in NJ. Yeah, you have a lot more people living in higher concentrations up north, ie more traffic, but the roads here are 90% 2 lane roads once you leave Charlotte.

Where in NC are you coming to?

I'm headed to Davidson, yeah I know the traffic is horrible among other things. I'm coming from a highly congested area in AZ, so I will give up the desert for a lake and a little more seasons and a cheaper home but that's about it. Lake Norman is a lot more beautiful than the desert so It will be a good swap.

Oh surprise. Arizona. Ive looked at the AZ forums, I see that part of the country is experiencing alot of growth.

What brings you to NC?

Davidson is a small town, real nice downtown area across from the college. Cornelius is right south of there. Guess you already knew that though. They are building a new retail development called Davdison Commons right by exit 30 near the new traffic circle ( lots of complaints about the traffic circle ) lol.

Yeah Az is really congested, lots of negative people on that forum.LOL

Yeah Davidson and the surrounding areas are truly beautiful.

I guess we are like everyone else looking for a change, I'm originally from NY and I've lived in AZ for 18 years. I have enjoyed it very much and I haven't been back to NY at all to visit. We are just tired of the desert and want a change.

Welcome to Lake Living... I am down the road an exit in Cornelius. I have been here 20 years and I appreciate the changes that the new people bring with them. Without them this area would be stale.
