Hi everyone..we are planning to move to Charlotte with 3-4 months and my son is going to one of the best elementary school here in st.Louis,Missouri. Need information about the best Elementary School in Charlotte. I m so much confused reading all the reviews of schools in Google and other websites. School always starts August 25th (unless that's a weekend).
There are many fantastic elementaries in Charlotte, much depends on what area of the city your job will be located in. Do you know that info yet?

I m here in St Louis from past 8 years and as far I know Parkway Central is the best public high school. Private schools are better always but then I have heard cases like taking out children from MICDS and going for parkway central..and Rockwood is the best public school district and then comes Parkway and in Parkway Wren hollow elementary comes 2nd in elementary ..first comes Carmen trails..if you see real estate values of those areas are very high than other ..
When I started searching for elementary schools in Charlotte, public reviews really confusing me and that's the reason I want to be sure about school there.
Point being that school rankings are very subjective...and private schools aren't always better. In my time there, never heard of Parkway Central being considered the 'best' high school. Very good, yes, but not 'best'
The school districts in St. Louis county are very small - Ladue, Clayton, Kirkwood, Lindbergh, etc only have 1 high school, so a very different situation than here in Charlotte.
There are many very good schools, both public and private here in Charlotte. Impossible to name a 'best', especially at the elementary level.
I heard that lot of bullying happens in school buses there in Charlotte what I never heard before here in STL..and school administration is very strict about it..my son is very intelligent and from Kindergarden only takes part in scienceworkshop,music and other acitivities and I want him to continue the same. That's why searching good school there in Charlotte also.
