...just said that the underground bunker Qaddafi built for his family cost an estimated "tens of billions of dollars". She wasn't specific as to what the bunker contained beyond some medical facilities, but I'm pretty sure several world class hospitals could be built for a few billion $$$$.
Doesn't anyone check these facts? Does common sense not come into play when saying a bunker costs as much as several Las Vegas casinos? Maybe I'm just more attuned to these errors, but it seems like they're more common than they used to be.
On another but connected note, the "100% chance of heavy thunderstorms all day" has become a slight possibility of scattered showers.

I would not put a lot of stock in what they say unless one of the other stations verifies it. My reason for saying this is that they had the accident in Kings Mountain, on I 85 about 80% wrong. I called them & gave them correct information & my reasons & sources. They did nothing to correct their errors & continued to broadcast the errors the next day. I called back & told them to check the Shelby Star for correct information, since most of theirs was incorrect, & I was told, "We don't care. That's yesterday's news." So. . .my theory is that they are not to be believed.
They've been Eye-Witless news for many years. I am surprised to learn that someone has been watching them. They have fallen a long way since the days of Bill Walker and Meg.
I didn't mean to imply that it's just WSOC that has issues. I've seen it on many newscasts and other shows.
