Mare didn't cost the game...

Drafting Cam cost us that game... shame on him for overcoming the TO's and setting up Mare for a chip shot. Mare slept well last night knowing he didn't cost the Panthers a chance to send the game to OT.

“Whoever thinks that this game came down to the last possession is a fool,” Newton said. “Offensively and defensively, we had opportunities, man.”

It never should have got to that point. Mare in no way cost them the game.

As for my college, they are an average to good team this year with plenty of talent who will return (i.e. a young team). They didn't play with any heart during that losing stretch. Thus, the three losses. Oklahoma/Clemson combined are 15-2; #7/#11. We played with heart these past three weeks and noticed what happened; we pitched a shutout and flat out destroyed the other two.

The Panthers on the other hand continue to lose and follow it up with more losses including yesterday's loss to a 1-6 team.

He obviously did not. He is taking the blame from fans like you.

Cam is a leader... saying all the right things and protecting players from criticism.

Cam isn't without fault but anyone who watched that game knows where the blame lies. 5th loss of 7 points or less...

A field goal kicker HAS to make 30 yarders..its his job. He may not be the only one to blame but sure is a big part of it.

Again, two of the touchdowns for the Vikings came from fumbles that started drives on the Panthers 16 and Panthers 39. How did this not have WAY MORE IMPACT than a missed FG?!?!

Yes, a FG Kicker should be able to hit a 30 yarder just like an offensive player should be able to hold onto a ball. Neither one did their job. The game was called. Isn't 14 > 3?

The Panthers over came the TO's and had a 21 to 14 lead...

Gross was beat like a drum on that second sack fumble as well. The first one was on Cam but neither of those TO's played a part in Mare missing a 30 yarder...

The FG miss had an impact because it would have sent the game into overtime... it was a 30 yard FG try. You can't ignore that miss or excuse it.

The final score was 24-21 not 14 to 3. LOL

of course the fumbles were costly!! Cripes but missing a 30 yarder..that kick is made 19 out of 20..you HAVE to rely on that. Like I said ..you lost your cred with me when you did not show up after they won. You are a Cam basher..thats what you do.

it's a shame...

when the Panthers won last week there were people on here talking about how the OL should get credit instead of Cam...

But when they lose do they blame the OL for not protecting Cam? Do they talk about Gross whiffing on a black (that was an awesome move by the Pro Bowler Jared Allen)...

nope.. it's all Cam. It's cool though.. fans watched Cam drive them down for the game tying FG after getting a first down called back on a horrible holding call...

5 losses by 7 points or less. If that doesn't give fans hope than they weren't fans to begin with...

Yes in indeed, Cam converted on a 4 and 14 on the last drive. What's scary is Cam seems to be getting better each week; gotta give Allen his due, all-pro year so far and knew he'd be a handful prior to the game.

That move was insane.. the hesitation had Gross reaching for air. LOL...

Panther fans need to sit back and enjoy the show this year. Next year I think fans can get mad at their win loss record but this year is all about watching this team grow. Minnesota isn't as bad as their record indicates either... they were outscoring teams by a ton before the half and giving the game away in the second half.

Unfortunately they didn't give this one away.. the Panther's did.
