They called and begged me to send them some to NYC as they have been everywhere and it is not sold there. I went to HT, bought a couple of good size bottles and shipped it out this morning. Funny how those things work out. I just hope they don't have an immediate need for other local delicacies like livermush, good catfish, hushpuppies, or great sweatened ice tea they have learned to appreciate.
Hey wait I got one...90 degrees for 3 months straight in summer.....

hahaha ...I just cant help myself!

Ever been to NYC in the summer? Not much difference in summer weather there and summer weather here. If you want to cool down, one has to go to New England.

Pineville, Matthews, Indian Trail, Rock Hill, Indian Land, etc are not really Charlotte either but they like to be considered Charlotte.

Sorry, got to dispute you on that statement. Many ex-Charlotteans move to the aforementioned towns to get away from Charlotte. They want nothing to do with the taxes, crime, politics, schools, traffic, etc. They do not claim to be from Charlotte but rather their new hometowns. This has been a goal of many locals to move to a neighboring town.

I just got in from NYC. I went to Trader Joes on Saturday and there was a "cover charge" of $5. to get in. I have never heard of anything so stupid. I hope the company doesn't stoop to that level here. There were 4 of us and weren't about to pay $20 to get in the place. Sometimes it is nice to not have to pay extra for the enjoyment of simple luxuries, ie. a shopping trip to TJs.
