Hmmm have you had a ticket before? I would consider traffic school and a prayer for judgement, you can get those without a lawyer if you go down to the DA's office. Charlotte-Mecklenburg is doing the negotiation down to Improper Equipment thing now, that most other counties do.

Ben Franklin, Attorney
wo(704) 375-4054

Besides having a cool name he is a good traffic attorney.

Traffic School and a PJC is the way to go then. You just can't have another violation within three years.

Dont you hate that feeling when the blue lights come on behind you?

- Imagine how others feel about driving the speed limit and watching
someone run up and pass them at 75mph. 60 mph is pushing it. 75 is NASCAR Boogoodie, boogoodie, boogoodie!

At 25 over the limit, you could lose your license. There's a reason the LEO didn't write you for less than you were actually going. Most LEOs will do that to help you out, but yours didn't. That's not a good sign. This isn't a simple traffic school and PJC situation, not yet anyway. You definitely need a lawyer.

I can tell you 25 over is very, very bad. even 15 is. A lawyer is the way to go, you'll be paying much more in insurance payments over the next 3 years if he doesn't get that reduced to 9 miles an hour above or a PJC. 9 miles an hour won't carry any insurance points as long as you don't get another in the next 3 years (and if you do, you can pull the PJC card)
