I heard that Pres. Obama might be coming to town later this year wearing a ball cap turned backward., beating a big bass drum that makes a lot of noise.

Hope he stays compliant with the law and set a good example.

He'll be fine unless he tries to get into the Epicenter.

Why would he start compying with the law now?

Yes - anyone who is at a bar listening to band after midnight must be a "loudmouth drunk."

That said - if it was solely a ban on karaoke (at any time) I may get behind that one.

Cleveland or now that I think about it most areas in that part of Ohio have a no outdoor concert past 11pm ordinance. I was at a concert (can't remember the band) and the main actstarted late, well right at 11 things shut down. Sucks while you're there and especially if you paid for the concert, but I don't see how this will hurt smaller bars like the Triangle in Elizabeth. When the band stops at midnight, just turn the regular music back on. I don't see the harm.

You see I have past experience in live on stage sound mixing and part of the problem is that most live bands here arent good enough to play at concert levels and volume just adds to how bad they sound. Real music /talent never has to be over powered. So when you can hear them for several blocks it says unprofessional and careless of how loud they are. Any band can fully entertain a large bar and not have the volume cranked ....
