I would have taken that offer. Even the best restaurants have bad days.

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions! I am never let down by all the great suggestions I get on here. On that note We chose Upstream which was absolutely fabulous. They did a great job and there was not one thing I would change. I now have a nice list of places to try from this thread and can not wait to get started. Thanks again!

This wasn't a problem with the food, it was with their servers and managers.

The best and most consisitent seafood you will find in Charlotte is Bonefish Grille. They do a great job. Having said that, there are some seafood dishes at the Palm, and at Mortons,. that I LOVE!!! But both places are so expensive, that it has to truly be a special occasion.
