we have tried a few other places and so far this is number one.
Small little place serves up a great Cuban.
This was my post thanking those who recommended this tasty joint SHORTLY back in at the end of June when I first tried this place.

In the last three weeks I have been by there (at least 5 times) to get my Cuban sandwich fix and I am sad to say it looks as if I have lost another favorite place here in Charlotte.

Just three short months after I found them. The sign on the door still says "Closed until further notice" ?????????

I finally found a mamey milkshake. I was sooooo happy! It was at a little place in Plaza De Fiesta. Now they just need to do a cuban place there.

I don't know from authentic Cuban, since I'm from MI, but I really enjoyed A Taste of Havana. Their empanadas are fantastic!

Last week I walked by a new Cuban resturant on Cedar Street west of Trade. I have no idea what it is like other than it is there.

Lunch portions are rather small, got shocked by the fact the dinner portion of pork chunks is $19.95.

Also if you want maduros it's $4.95 extra

There is a new Cuban restaurant in Uptown. It is located on Church Street, between W. Trade and 4th Street. It just opened last week. I saw their lunch menu and prices were not bad. Will go in some time this week to try them out.
