The ones with "eye" in the name that most people know are usually really big, though like The London Eye, The Dubai Eye, the Orlando Eye, etc.

So what?! The Willis Tower in Chicago is bigger than the Hearst Tower in Charlotte...should the Hearst Tower be renamed to the Hearst Building? Oh wait, there's the Empire State Building.

Ahhh, thanks so much for the photo. I do remember back in the 90's when an entire carnival was set up along North & South Tryon in uptown. They had a ferris wheel, and a few spinning rides. I took some videoI may have to dig that out....

It was only supposed to be in town for a week. So not even really for the "Christmas holidays" .
