I have been to Birkdale many many times and I find it odd that there are no public restrooms. There are none listed on their directory and I kept my eyes open for one. Maybe I am just missing seeing it. I was there one day when a young child was playing in the water fountain and they were in need of a restroom. I know the restaurants have restrooms but they are only for people eating there. The only other place I have seen one is in Dick's Sporting Goods and that store is off the main road in the back and I am sure it is intended for those shopping at their store. I have been to many outdoor malls and there are always public restrooms.
I had that problem yesterday and just bought something from Starbucks so I could go potty
We go there a lot and not always to eat or shop. Like last night, we went to one of the concerts there. If they offer public events like concerts, and that fountain for kids to play in, they should provide restrooms. I am sure I am not the first or last one looking for one.
I never noticed or thought of that..
There is a new outdoor shopping area in Alamance County (exit 140) Alamance crossing. It's just like Birkdale, Phillips Place. They have public bathrooms. They are out of the way, but they are at least there.
You would think that with that central area that is always having events of some sort all year long they would have planned for that...
