Re-opened a while ago as Draught....much better, in my opinion.
Sports Authority across from Concord Mills has closed.
A victim of competition, perhaps, from the Academy Sports on the other side of the mall?
Bad location too. It is hardly visible from the main road, and yet suffers from the Mall's traffic congestion. I shopped at Sports Authority earlier this summer and the parking lot was sparsely populated. Not surprised that it is closed.
Ex-LI appears to be right. On Sports Authority's website, it looks like the Concord Mills location is still open, while the South Blvd location is gone.
I work in the same strip mall as Sports Authority in Concord. When I saw the sign coming down on Monday I made sure to drive past it after work to take a peek...everything is all boxed up and on pallets, like it's getting trucked to another store. I never saw the typical store closing signs so I don't know if they had a sale or just abruptly closed. Not surprised, though. Even before Academy opened it didn't have much business.
Looks like Nom Nom Burger is closed in ParkeTown Village (Montford).
Flamin' Crawfish has taken it's spot!
