I got a sandwich there many months ago. As I recall it was pretty good. Obviously I didn't pay much attention to that location.
I'll start sending you my newsletter.

Hartigan’s Irish Pub, located off S. Cedar St. in Uptown Charlotte directly behind the stadium last day of regular business will be this Sunday, March 23.

Hartigan's was one of two bars in Charlotte to cater to lesbians and bisexual women but if you ever ate there during the day you wouldnt realize it. It also had a club in its downstairs.

Hartigan's was awarded one of best sports bar by ESPN and was rated best tailgate spot by Charlotte Magazine. It also hosted delegates from the DNC and was featured in a scene in the tv show Homeland.

The owner of Hartigan's states she closing due to age of building it hard to keep up with electrical, plumbing, heating and ac and having three different land lords in six years.

Re-opened a while ago as Draught....much better, in my opinion.

A victim of competition, perhaps, from the Academy Sports on the other side of the mall?

Interesting in that the Concord location still shows up on the website. The Pineville location isn't on there. Is that one still open?

Bad location too. It is hardly visible from the main road, and yet suffers from the Mall's traffic congestion. I shopped at Sports Authority earlier this summer and the parking lot was sparsely populated. Not surprised that it is closed.

Ex-LI appears to be right. On Sports Authority's website, it looks like the Concord Mills location is still open, while the South Blvd location is gone.

I work in the same strip mall as Sports Authority in Concord. When I saw the sign coming down on Monday I made sure to drive past it after work to take a peek...everything is all boxed up and on pallets, like it's getting trucked to another store. I never saw the typical store closing signs so I don't know if they had a sale or just abruptly closed. Not surprised, though. Even before Academy opened it didn't have much business.

Looks like Nom Nom Burger is closed in ParkeTown Village (Montford).

Flamin' Crawfish has taken it's spot!
