Flat Rock Grill in Ballentyne has closed. They cite the bad economy there. Oddly enough, the one in Hickory and the one in Asheville remain open for now. Better go spend those gift cards while you can.

There's something weird about this closing so be careful. If you remember that this place closed once before and sat idle for a while. When they reopened it kept the same name but didn't have an affiliation with the other Flat Rock Grills in NC, the owners were different. they didn't honor the Gift Cards from the old location

I don't remember the specifics...but I'm not sure the gift cars will work at the other locations.

The article about it said they would. However the local media isn't exactly know for being accurate these days.

Hmm, I guess you didn't read the paper today about last quarter GDP growing faster than any quarter in the last two years, and the stimulus package being credited with most of it. And Rush Limbaugh and his ilk were predicting a few months ago we'd been in a depression by now.
