My actual purpose for the trip was to get some Christmas cards, but, couldn't find any I liked. However, I browsed through a few clothing stores such as Gap & Layne Bryant. Got a sweater & two shirts for less than $25.00!!!
Also walked the oval, which is a mile. Need to get myself in shape.

Don't we all need to get in shape. I was standing next to my size 4 sister at Christmas and all I could think to say was - "I am the Before; she is the After." SIGH. It's gonna take a lot of walking to get myself back in shape . . . wish you and I lived closer, CHI. I need a walking partner.

Yeah, me, too. Of course, with gas prices continuing to drop, it won't be as big of a deal to go across town anymore.
I am actually thinking of joining the YMCA or the aquatic center downtown to do some swimming. I love to swim and that is a great no-impact type of exercise.
