I do not think it will be a problem if you show them you will be interning and have sufficient funds to cover rent. Worse case senario just offer to pay first and last month's rent ahead plus the deposit.

Default Renting with a co-signer

You should be able to with a co-signer that can prove income and pass a credit check.

Well just to update, my bags are packed so to speak and I leave saturday. I am definitly nervous/excited, but the ball is rolling and there is no turning back. I'll feel much better once I'm out of Clover and into an apartment. Either way I'll be sipping sweet tea by Sunday
