They just showed on NBC charlotte 5:00 news that there is a backup of cars on the exit off the new section of 485 to get onto hwy 16 LOL on the first day it is open.

I don't know if it opened today but Brookshire Blvd is in fact Highway 16. So is Providence Rd, 16 goes through the city.
