The KB community is not sold yet. Minus Aberdeen village (KB limbo?) there is an entire lot phase still forsale off SeaMill Road.

20k jez.. the more I think about it the more it does not sit well. That means that EVERYONE that has bought/closed on a KB Home in that neighboorhood prior to this MASSIVE price drop is immediately behind in equity..that is just not right..

So what should I do? Demand the same promo price that is offered now on my home or walk and lose 6.5k? I have not closed yet. My house is still 2-3 months out from completion.

There are still a lot of lots left in berewick, but only in the biltmore collection i believe. I think you are right about the blue ridge either being sold out or almost there.

Default Walking away is no walk in the park

You cannot simply walk away from a purchase contract and expect your losses to be limited to the deposit. The builder can sue for specific performance and force you to complete the purchase or pay damages, unless the contract provides otherwise.

Here's the deal: Just spoke with the sales gal we have been dealing with.
She said to offset the price reduction, the have reduce the included upgrades for that spec level (fireplace not included, no garden tub etc) I purchased the Livingston for $210,990 and was quite happy with the $2m dollar increase on the base price they had posted on May 1st. Now , I just noticed it was at 207,990 and I made the call while reading this.
I must say , she was less than accomidating about my question about the kitchen upgrade. She said she would check but couldn't promise anything.
My next phone call is to my real estate agent.

Now what if your Division properties are NOT reducing. Could there be a chance that b/c the rest are, they may be able to accomdate to the price of the house?
