Ummm.. Those are some of the more desirable areas of Charlotte. Especially Ballantyne, Lake Norman.

I am going to be in Northern Charlotte. Off of W.T. Harris. Do you know anything about that area?

This is not necessarily true. You will be missing out on some great neighborhoods if you follow this line. Wilmore on the West Side and Plaza-Midwood/Chantilly on the East are outstanding examples.

I'm near that area (just a little further South). From what I've seen, that area is fairly nice. I wouldn't worry too much.

I think you meant this as a joke right???? Just don't want to confuse newcomers looking for specific areas. So, just to be clear, the areas above are all very nice and very desirable areas to live

OK, I wrote this big long post questioning that areas post, only to then see that it was a joke. I was like "what the..."

Poor readers who might take that seriously! Maybe that person does not want any more people moving into these areas? LOL

I've been trying to figure that one out. Gilbertrule is new to Charlotte so I don't think he wants to keep anyone from coming either, I just think he was either joking (in which case adding a grinning face to the post would have been a good idea) or he just got confused and thought the subject was "safe areas of town".
