Gwyneth was staying at a Myers Park house while filming but she does not own it. I doubt she bought anything here, she has no reason to come back since she lives in London and LA, and there have been no sightings :-)

Joe DeLamielleure also lives in Charlotte. I went to Elem. school with his son & daughter. I know they moved away for a bit (to the Durham area), but they came back.

Jimmie Johnson reigning 4 time Nascar Sprint Cup champion and his wife, former NYC model Chandra have a beautiful home in the area. Nascar's brand new Hall of Fame and Lowes Motor Speedway is also there as well as Hendrick's Motorsports, which explains Jimmie, Jeff Gordon & other race car drivers! Can't wait to visit!

I was scrolling through this Post and noticed that outside of NASCAR, some Pro Athletes, and Ric Flair - there aren't any main stream Stars. BTW - I am not sure that the aforementioned would considered Stars on a National Level. (Unless you are into NASCAR & Panther's Football. I can't name any Bobcat's except for Michael Jordan).

Personally, I could care less if any "Stars" live in Charlotte or not, it isn't like my life is any better b/c they live so close to me. Why should I care about some snobby Hollywood type living close to me, Who Cares?

There are more stars around than you would imagine. One of the highest paid stars in Hollywood is currently building a house on the lake. Out of respect for his privacy, I will not say who it is.

pryfromnc- If you "could care less" about this thread, you should do yourself a favour and ignore it. I find that I really don't care who lives here, but it is somewhat interesting to see who actually does.

It may be redneck, which is weird cos I'm Asian but I am most excited that the Nature Boy Ric Flair lives here. Woooo!!!

God I loved to hate him as a kid
