There are more stars around than you would imagine. One of the highest paid stars in Hollywood is currently building a house on the lake. Out of respect for his privacy, I will not say who it is.
pryfromnc- If you "could care less" about this thread, you should do yourself a favour and ignore it. I find that I really don't care who lives here, but it is somewhat interesting to see who actually does.

Freddy Couples is definatetly out and about. I saw him at a wine tasting this weekend. Of course if I didn't read the article in the paper about him moving here and his girlfriend owning Dolcettos...I wouldn't have had a clue who it woulda been (other than he has a ridiculas tan).

I've seen Fred Couples out and about over in the Piedmont Town Center in South Park. He's also a Bobcats season ticket holder...

He is the people's golfer. Always enjoyed seeing him play. Too bad I moved last year!
KC and JoJo I think still live here. They haven't done much of anything in a while though, but they'll still get airplay on 95.1 and 96.1 sometimes.
I guess Michael Jordan lives here now too considering he owns the Bobcats, or at least part of the time. He's probably the biggest star in Charlotte IMO.
