There are some very nice communities in the Ballantyne/South Charlotte area -- you will have many options in that price range -- consider Ballantyne Country Club, Providence Country Club. Bridgehampton is also nice, though at a lower price point and no golf course. In Union County, I would look at Firethorne, Providence Downs, Kingsmead, Marvin Creek, Longview, Weddington Chase. Best of luck

You could probably do well for $400k in belmont or mount holly. The schools are excellent in these two cities. McAdenville, Lowell, and Cramerton are pretty upscale too.

900,000 in Charlotte? I better be on a lake for that

Isn't Reflection Point Lake Wylie? I was bopping around there the other day.

I hear ya! I think the houses in that price range are on the water.

Technically, it is in Belmont.

I have family who live in Firethorne and they love it there, they chose it over Ballantyne actually. Stratford on Providence has some amazing listings at the top of that range too. You can certainly get what you want at that price in Union County.

South Charlotte is the best place to be in Charlotte. If your looking for water, try mooresville, and the sherrills ford areas

There's many of us up in the Lake Norman area that have chosen this area over Ballantyne also. It's all a matter of what type of lifestyle you are looking for.

I looked at the website for Reflection Pointe -it looks very nice. Have you heard good or bad things about that area? What about the power lines - are these a concern? Thanks for any info.
