Very true, reguardless of color if you are young you are a target for the police. Also, reguardless of color if you have two 15" subwoofers in your trunk, neon lights in your car and big fancy rims police are going to mess with you.

I wouldn't say DWB is an issue in Naperville, I have a black buddy who has two cars, one a BMW325 and another a crappy old rusty jeep and he has never been pulled over in Naperville so tht's two ends of the spectrum, young black guy in a hooptie and a beamer.

Not to say its never happenend but its not common.

Another thing, white or black especially for younger people, if you dress preppy your not going to be targeted like if you wear baggy fubu stuff yeah I know fubu is out but you get the point.

Historically, it was black people who were willing to get clubbed, gassed and maced just so they could live next store to white people. In today's world, many of those living in low-income mostly black areas desperately want to get out. They don't live there because they want to live there.

A lot of Hispanics in America are culturally very different than black people and white people. Blacks and whites are kinda the same thing next to a Spanish speaking first-generation American.

Bring your boots and look at Naperville first. I do not think you will be disappointed. If you are interested i found two churches in Naperville: St. John AME and Phillip R. Cousin AME.

I only have a problem with questions like this because of the people who say that white people who want to live around white people are racists. I personally don't think that being around people who look like you should be a reason to choose a place to live.
