I am glad to hear things are going well. I am so encouraged by your strength and positive outlook. I wish more parents could be that understanding. Please keep us posted. It would be fun to meet.

Depending where you live my ob-gyn had a lot of young patients, Dr. Carmelita Torres is in Homewood, IL. She is a part of a group of 3 doctors all of them are great!

Courtney turned 15 at the end of July. She started her sophomore year last Friday. Things seem to be going okay, she told all of her teachers on the first day and most were very understanding. Her counselor has a daughter who had a baby in high school so she can relate to Courtney's situation.

She's due January 27th. She's still getting migraines, but otherwise feels pretty good. As for childcare - family and friends are going to help out in the beginning until she's out again for the summer and she'll probably take the baby to the childcare across the street from our house when she goes back to school next fall. They're supposed to open the infant center in the spring, and it's government subsidized. Her next ultrasound is the 18th - she wants to find out the sex and is really excited.
