Good Christian churches in the Chicago-metro area? (Naperville, Phoenix: live, moving)

I grew up in Chicago, but moved to Phoenix when I turned 18. Up until then, I only attended churches my parents took us to. Now, ten years later, I am moving back to Chicago with my husband and 4 children (ages 5, 4, 2, & 1). We want to try out a few churches in the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs but have no idea where to start. I would love to hear your suggestions and experiences with the churches you know of.

We don't like to label ourselves with a specific type of Christians, but if we did, it would be non-denominational with Pentecostal beliefs. Just to give you an idea Also, we love Hillsong United for music, so if the church's worship sounds anything like that, it would be awesome! If not, we also love big "churchy" choirs, Delirious? , Newsboys, Tree63, etc... Ultimately, though, we would love to go to a church where the Pastor has a love for his members and preaches from the Bible and the Word of God alone.

There are a few threads already on churches in Chicago that might help you. Personally, I think you should try Park Community Church. We go there and really enjoy it. Good luck!

Calvary Christian Church is in Naperville. Very large church, psuedo-pentecostal etc etc. Willow Creek is similar as well from what I understand.

There are an absolute ton of Churches in the Chicago area, especially DuPage County it seems. You can probably find one to your suiting if you look around a lot.

Members are very involved, often delivering the sermons, and there is plenty of music. It's a small but growing congregation. The pastor will travel from one end of the city to the other to visit members.
