Perhaps not, but I am not part of the behavior police.

That's a good point. If you're planning on getting drunk, definitely valet.

2-3 blocks is nowhere near far ENOUGH. A good 2-3 mile walk accompanied by a giant burrito or something is the best preventative cure for a hangover there is.

If the poster is drunk they certainly shouldn't get on public transit either -- particularly with their relative ignorance of the city.
I don't think the OP should get drunk at Schuba's during the show.

Parking is not that difficult, particularly if they can walk a few blocks.

Go west of Ashland, you'll find a parking spot along one of the side streets. Just hope you can parallel park.
Maybe more time consuming, but not "bad," like if I told him to park at the McDonalds at the 95th St. Red Line stop so he could get a Big Mac before heading down . He wouldn't go through any sketchy neighborhoods and it's only about a 15 minute train ride back downtown. I will admit that the parking boxes have made it somewhat easier to park in that area, albeit at a price. And now that I think of it, there's also a newer parking deck right across from the Vic Theater at Sheffield and Belmont.

I agree with this advice. In Lakeview, the further west you go, the easier parking gets.

The worst that will happen in that area is you might get your foot runover by a double wide stroller. (very, very safe)

Haha, thanks, everyone. It is an 18+ show, so we can get in. And we do go to Saint Louis frequently, so we do know how to use common sense while in the city. Thanks for the good news!

And just for the record, I'm not racist, and I don't want anyone to say anything racist on this post either.
