I really, really wanted to travel to the outskirts of the city. I wanted to check out Chinatown, St. Clements, and Devon Ave first, but I couldn't really afford the 3 day L train pass (that's how limited my budget was after I used most of it downtown). But I could've swore there was a day pass? None of the CTA machines I saw had any. Is there such a thing?

Either way, I got into Shedd Aquarium with hardly any crowds. I hear that is a blessing!
Exactly. Chicago is formal for the business environment, while being less about style and fashion for the sake of it.

Haha. I dont know if it was because of my fraternity, or because of the school I went to. But my college experience was full of girls who were overly slutty and open to just about anything. Unfortunately most of the time in the city, if you approach a girl at the bar, she assumes you want to **** her. I have tried creating casual conversation before just to get that "ew" stare like your eyeballs are 3 feet apart. Girls can be very cold, but they also have to be with the way guys are sometimes. Moral of the story is, if you make some cool friends and do everything your budget allows, you should be okay.

Yup. Your in an urban environment during business hours. People are going to be dressed nicely. In winter we all look like a pack of cattle mooing into the office with our laptops and peacoats.

The day passes and weekend passes are only sold at Walgreens/Jewel/CVS. You can't get them in the machines. Sorry you missed out, you should have asked someone!
