Cats are a better animal for a high rise but you gotta watch them cause they will jump/fall.

I know nothing about one dog from another, but I agree, in general dogs aren't made for that kind of life. Maybe the ones people put into their pockets/purses or whatever, but even those have to pee/poop somewhere.

the highrise I stayed in had windows that opened outward but they had thick screens so no way was my cat gonna jump out. I believe other highrises downtown have similar types of widows. now unless you have a patio/balcony, yeah then I can see them wanting to pounce on a bird flying by without realizing its a 200 foot drop.. lol.. so you have to keep them inside.
