I did see some nice lawn chairs here in Ravenswood this morning on the way to my sons school.

The same people who are stupid enough to do dibs are probably the same type to not realize that if he did decide to retaliate against someone for not honoring dibs, he might be filmed and then is going to have a lot more problems than someone stealing 'his' parking spot.

I wonder how many on this thread actually participate in dibs? My guess is very few, if any. Seems that the CD crowd is smarter than that. (oh my God, did I just type that!)

Guess what, I saw it on Ashland Ave today. Between Ainslie and Lawrence Ave. I can't believe it. Ashland is a very busy street.

The stuff's been sitting out in below-zero temperatures. I doubt bugs are an issue.

I actually broke down and did dibs for 30 minutes today, but I used my daughter and wife as my dibs objects, so I'm not sure that counts.

how can they do that on a busy street? dont they have those traffic laws where you cant park during rush hour traffic on one side of the street and the other side when rush hour goes in the opposite way?

maybe so, but i dont want to test it out and get roaches and bed bugs. the city of chicago warns people not to take furniture from the side of the road and used furniture and stuff because of this problem.
