Kmanshouse, it looks like the big snow and ice scare they started talking about yesterday is turning out to be not true?

Although they already canceled some schools here in Wisconsin yesterday, FOR TODAY!

Well, it looks like I will then have to teach my Tae Kwon Do class tonight...

AND it looks like you still owe me a stein at Himmels!

jay, there will be no snowstorm here. Raining today, then dry for 3 days, then more rain.

I used to drive through Oro Valley fairly regularly on my way to Nogales. Beautiful country. Isn't that massive airplane graveyard nearby? I always got a kick out of seeing that.
Anyways, enjoy the nicer weather and beautiful scenery. Its pretty miserable here today.
Safe travels.

Oh, I'm back. Got back last night. You are talking about this

https://pimaair.org/

Next to this is an additional graveyard. All near Davis Monthan AFB

Wisconsin diet is heavy on cheese, sausage and beer, no?

Gaylord_Focker, good morning. Hoping you're well.

Cheese is ok for some dairy.

Sausage is ok for some protein.

And even a drink or 2 is ok to lower the cholesterol.

But TOO MUCH of that, plus TOO LITTLE of exercise seems to be more of a common practice in Milwaukeeland versus Chicagoland!

I, of course, am an exception which must be another reason why when I'm in Chicago people think I'm FROM there!

To be honest, I see enough sloppy looking young people in Chicago, in hip areas like Logan (where my mother in law lives). I didn't take a tally, but I'd venture many of them are transplants, but regardless...kinda pudgy with that just-rolled-outta-bed look going on. Chicago being big on the food scene and IPA's probably adds to pudgy thing though.

The rolling out of bed look is quite common in general these days. All the Covid, WFH stuff has made people way more lazy and less concerned about their appearance.

I think Chicago people are attractive compared to the surrounding and greater Midwest because Midwest people in general don't care about their body shape and appearance much at all. Chicago meets more of a national average in a below average area...sorry no offense. I am also from rural midwest before moving to Chicago many years ago and I see the difference yet other parts of the country and internationally have even better standards.

I've lived in the south and on both coasts. You're not wrong. People on the coasts tend to be thinner.
